The Contexto Programme team delivers a workshop at the Annual Conference of the European Network for the Work with Perpetrators

The workshop, titled 'Innovative strategies: the role of the support person in intervention programmes with perpetrators', delivered by Manuel Roldán-Pardo, Cristina Expósito-Álvarez, and Marisol Lila, took place on 23rd October in Berlin at the WWP EN Annual Conference '10 Years of Change – Exploring Next Frontiers of Ending Domestic Violence'.

The workshop, aimed at professionals and researchers within the European network, involved presenting the results of the programme and conducting a role-playing-based activity. During this session, participants had the opportunity to apply an innovative protocol developed by the Contexto Programme research team. This protocol focuses on collaborating with the perpetrator's support network, with the goal of identifying risk situations and raising awareness of the negative consequences of violence on the participant's immediate environment.

The initiative was a great success, not only for the dissemination of the protocol but also for the connections established with other professionals across Europe, strengthening the exchange of knowledge and strategies for violence prevention.
